Having had a Grandfather who was a photographer in the late 1890's/early 1900's and who took pix of Paul Kruger and an aunt who was Pretoria's most well known wedding and child photographer, it kind of just fell into place that I would follow in their footsteps. At the age of 11, I was given a Kodak box camera and remember taking my very first pix at the South African Grand Prix in East London of greats like Jim Clark and Stirling Moss (albeit very far away). Having come a long way and now equipped with CANON camera's and lenses, I am enjoying the opportunity to take pix of not only aviation (my first love) but many other subjects. I hope you enjoy looking at the pix as much as I had in taking them. If you need to use a pic or two, please ask for permission first - that's the right thing to do after all...
